Umckalor is a herbal medicine intended to reduce the symptoms of acute bronchitis and relieve expectoration

Non-prescription herbal medicines. Active ingredients, strength. Drops. 1 g (= 0.975 ml) of solution contains 800 mg of geranium root liquid extract (1:8-10). Extraction solvent: 11% (w/w) ethanol. Pills. 1 film-coated tablet contains 20 mg of Pelargonium sidoides DC., radix (pelargonium root) liquid extract, dried (1 : 8 – 10). Extraction solvent: 11% (w/w) ethanol. Indications: Umckalor is a herbal medicine intended for reducing the symptoms of acute bronchitis and relieving expectoration. Method of administration and dosage. Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: a) adults and adolescents over 12 years of age take 30 drops 3 times a day, b) children from 6 to 12 years old take 20 drops 3 times a day, c) young children from 1 to 5 years drink 10 drops 3 times a day. Drink the drops with a small amount of water in the morning, during the day and in the evening. Pills. Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age take 1 tablet 3 times a day. Use without chewing, drinking a small amount of water. Contraindications. Allergy to Pelargonium sidoides extract or any of the excipients of this medicine. (Additionally to drops) if you have severe liver diseases, as there is not enough experience. Special warnings. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Umckalor: if you have any kind of liver problems. If your condition does not improve within 7 days, the temperature persists for several days, any kind of liver dysfunction occurs, shortness of breath bothers you, or you cough up bloody sputum, consult a doctor. (In addition to tablets) This medicine should not be used in patients with a rare hereditary disorder – Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
